Waiting in the Wings: The Musical. Part of Reel to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions of Gays in Holl

Ever had a most humbling experience? One that really made you want to work so much harder? This was one of mine. The costumes from my first feature film, "Waiting in the Wings: The Musical" were displayed alongside Dorothy's ruby slippers inside The Hollywood Museum at the Max Factor Building. The exhibit itself, "Reel to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions of Gays in Hollywood" served as a testament to the struggle for fair and equal representation in mass media. The exhibit celebrated the old and new, the camp and pain of our history, but most importantly celebrated those who have persevered and paved the way for the LGBT community in large.
